Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. We ask that all our rabbit be fully vaccinated with the combined RHD1 and myxomatosis vaccine (Nobivac). Vets for Pets offer this vaccine for around £40 and it takes 2 weeks to build up immunity. All vets will have this vaccine. (VHD and RHD are names for the same thing) **** UPDATE **** There has recently been an outbreak of a new strain of virus known
as RHD2. This needs a separate vaccination (Filavac) and costs around £35. These two vaccines must be given 2 weeks apart and 2 weeks prior to boarding. As RHD2 is airborne, it is spreading across the Uk and un-vaccinated bunnies are dying everyday, without showing any previous symptoms. Every Rabbit owner who cares about their rabbit should book in and get them vaccinated. Even if your bunny never leaves the house it can still be passed along via clothes, shoes, dogs, open windows etc. Click the map on the right to see the confirmed cases so far: here is an excellent website for common questions about RHD2: https://rabbitwelfare.co.uk/rvhd2/

We will welcome you in and place your pet on our temporary "landing" table. We will then give your pet a brief health check and discuss anything you need us to do while you are away. All medical problems must be disclosed BEFORE arrival otherwise we may have to refuse you. You will then be asked to fill in your pets details, your details and sign our terms and conditions. Our terms and conditions can be found on our website, our facebook page and on findpetboarding.
Yes! When the weather is permitting, we will give your bunnies time out of their pen and allow them to hop around our grassy garden.
Yes! We absolutely adore rats, they are just like little tiny intelligent dogs. We do ask that you bring your own cage however.

No, sadly we do not have the space to look after cats or dogs so we are not a license kennel or cattery. We only look after small animals like rabbits, hamsters, conures, rats etc :)
